Introduction:
Ruth is a book which builds the Christian life and encourages Christian hope.
Transition:
Let’s look at Chapter 1: The Hope of Harvest
I. The Trail of Tragedy (1-5)
II. Trial of Separation (6-18)
III. The Testimony of Bitterness (19-22)
Conclusion:
Something wonderful and great was about to happen—it was “The hope of the harvest”.
Application:
1. There are tears in life (But God shall wipe away all tears from our eyes)
2. There is the Providence of God over life.
3. There is the hope of the harvest supporting life
