Introduction:
Obedience to God often seems to be disconnected from our everyday life. But there is a truth here which is important for us to learn: obedience, if we desire to walk with God.

Transition:
How is obedience a part of life?
I. Obedience is a part of the ordinary life of Great Men.
II. The Obedience of the Widow Lady in Ordinary Life (10-16)

Conclusion:
Because God can do nothing big in your life until you listen and obey in the little things of life.
You cannot walk down “Useful Street” until you have walked down “Obedience Lane“.
God will reach out to those churches and Christians who are obedient.

Invitation:
Until you learn obedience in the small things, at home, at work, at school, at church--God cannot do any thing big in your life.
